My postdoc

I was a postdoc in the Martínez-Cerdeño lab, at UC Davis, in the Institute for Pediatric Regenerative Medicine in Davis (California).

I did research in astrocyte evolution and development, with a more recent interest in astrocyte role in neurodevelopmental pathologies.

My PhD

I spent 6 wonderful years of training and research in the Mallamaci- Laboratory of Cerebral Cortex Development, at the International School for Advanced Studies (SISSA) in Trieste (Italy, my home country).

I owe a lot to prof. Mallamaci and his lab. Among others, I developed skills in developmental neurobiology, and in critical thinking, collaborative work, experimental design and paper writing.
