I love explaining science to kids and adults.

Most recent outreach commitment

I have been a team leader for the Ventricular Foundation. We used to go to schools and other public events where we showed real brains (!!!) and real cells under a microscope, or to engage people with psychological tests and with building different brain regions with play-doh.

Meet a Scientist Day

Thanks to the UC Davis Science Communication Fellowship, I was able to serve as a scientific educator and hold my own outreach activity at “Meet a Scientist Day” at the Powerhouse Science Center at Sacramento, California.

SISSA for Schools

During my Master’s and PhD I volunteered for SISSA for Schools, a programme of schools visits of the International School for Advanced Studies (SISSA, Italy).

I had great fun organizing the most diverse activities with my scientist friends!

I’ll always bring these experiences in mu heart.
